July 27, Sunday
morning saw me performing my duty for the last two hours of our Thanksgiving service for the 89th anniversary of the church. by this time, a coup de etat drama is on going and the chosen venue of the Magdalo group (headed by LTSG Trillanes) was the Oakwood Condo in Makati. i decided to post a few comments on the PEx threads at the LAFI forum. i was pissed off with DILG Secretary Joey Lina. pissed off as in PISSED OFF! for a while, i think Joey Lina is a PLAGUE!
anyway, as of this writing (its 10:28 on my clock, date is July 31st) the arroyo government is busy "hunting down" the other "civilians" involved in the so-called Sunday mutiny. i hope, they immediately follow the investigation against the allegations in the AFP. just then, Filipinos may gain confidence from the government.
So much for the coup drama. After lunch, around 2pm after the thanksgiving, Lawrence, Cristy & i dined in Max's Sta. Lucia East branch. we had a few chat and then we planned to proceed to Greenhills for some window shopping. Unfortunately, the EDSA shrine was heavily guarded, and the roads going to Greenhills are closed. So we headed back home instead. At this point, i feel so sleepy. upon arriving home, i immediately rested in our living room while watching the developments of the Magdalo Group's move against the government. i fell asleep and the next thing i knew, it's already Monday.
July 28, Monday
shucks... what the hell happened last Monday?... (edit...edit from Tuesday memory recovery...)
So i called Jary V. to meet up with me at SM Megamall. i planned to pay up my Globe Handyphone dues and eventually have it disconnected. before that, we dined in Goldilocks, hoping to have brazo de mercedez for desert. UNFORTUNATELY, their two megamall branches don't have it, even a single slice. sheesh... magsara na kayo!!!
howell.. back to Globe. So we went to Globe center and i waited for my number to be called into the cashier. a little long wait and finally my turn. facing the cashier, she happily informed me that she can not accept my payment because its cash. she insisted i go to the express payment machine and process my payment there. i told her i'll be needing a non-computerized receipt since i'm gonna have the line disconnected. she showed me her two front teeth and said "Sorry sir, pero dun lang po talaga."
then of course, since i am still under the two-year contract, i just had my line temporarily disconnected. but thinking that i still have to pay for its monthly due, i might as well use Globe's services, hence, the thought of re-activating the line and have the international roaming activated. this led me to a new plan regarding my mobile use outside Manila.
July 29, Tuesday
hmm... i met my drinking partner and we had a chat while munching chicken at KFC, Robinsons Galleria Branch. afterwards, we held our drinking session at Coffee Experience, same mall, and there continued our chit chat. then my bestfriend came texting about his problem. actually, i bugged him to tell me what's happening. he's been insisting on me not to ask about it anymore coz it will just cause me worries. but not knowing it bothered me more. so, i found out that Nanay Menang was confined. of course, i extended a little help. they're not different from me anymore, anyway.
This day, i attempted to have my Globe line reconnected. (oopss.. naalala ko na nangyari nung Monday. its about Globe! edit muna ng Monday... edit.. edit...be back here)
i'm back. oh well, it didn't happen. (the reconnection thingy)
After our drink in kofi ek, i met my bestfriend and extended my regards to the family. that night, i was already able to talk to Nanay and she was thanking me for the help. well, what's more important to me was she got well that day.
July 30, Wednesday
I felt extremely happy yesterday. i was in church and the brethren all around me were greeting my departure on Monday. their faces don't wear happy ones so i guess they'll be missing me. (aww.. hindi ako nagbubuhat ng sariling silya ko pero ito talaga ang bakas sa mga mukha nila) it's a totally different feeling from last year's pre-departure to Toronto. it seems that the acceptance to all thses developments is so warm. i'm too comfortable with this year's trip. of course, i owe all of these to the "Father" up there. i'm pretty sure this is His will. The locale secretaries attempted to ask me for another schedule for their treat for me. sad to say, i'm not available on any dates already til Sunday. i have my schedules lined-up til Sunday. i'll be getting a few hours sleep for the next three days. i have to prepare. but nonetheless, i'm deeply touched.
July 31, Thursday
The last day of the month. i woke up early and went with my parents on the way to their offices. i did some banking transactions for my mom. i got drenched in the rain but its OK. i insisted on having lunch with jary v. pay-up time for the desert. kulang kase sa tiwala sa signal ng SUN eh. ayan tuloy...
then, after our worship service this afternoon, i treated my "second family" in Friday's Brick Road. Kinda, gonna miss them. sniff-sniff... just got home and updated this blog.
have to rest now. tomorrow's another BIG DAY. stories to follow...

First two hours of our Thanksgiving worship services this day were graced by our Lord God, praises unto Him! The 545am service was officiated by Bro. Benefrido Santiago while the 945am service was officiated by our 2nd district minister, Bro. Jun Sicat. The letter read from the Church Administrator was felt by the brethren. The Father showered the services with His bountiful blessings, which make every brethren's faith stronger. Glory be unto Him!

after lunch, around 1pm, my dad, mom & i went to my aunt's place in Fairview. Our relatives there decided to invite us for late lunch, and i had a nice talk with my cousins. Mostly, we talked about church duties and matter. Afterwich, my dad, my mom & i decided to watch Tomb Raider 2. It's been a long time since we went out together for a movie. i'd say, this day is one of the greatest days that has happened in my life.

yesterday was quite a "rewarding" one. well, at least for meeting a friend who has a very busy schedule. we just had a short but "meaty" chat (LOL) at Figaro, G4 and i can't help but chuckle deep inside me because i never imagined that i could feel at ease with this lady, with the "profile" she has from the common thing where we were introduced with each other. howell... i was thankful for the time. it's worth a travel to Makati. :)
i was happy because i finally bought my brother-in-law the medical book he has been requesting me to purchase for him. now, i have something to give in exchange for the toga that i'll be using there for the church choir.
i went to PEx ofc yesterday to meet madz & Ada but unfortunately, the latter had to attend to some matters so i never got to see the kind-hearted admin. Sir Jude a.k.a. Kaboom! was there, and madz was insistent enough to call Kuya Danny and let him go to the office also, so i could meet him. shy, shy, shy... i met KD for the first time. sobrang nahiya ako, hindi ko na nga ni-recall sa kanya yung mga makukulit kong post dun sa Personal thread niya, tungkol kay Arthur yung kanyang avatar, at marami pang iba sa Working Filipino. Also, Tr|n|ty showed up in the office upon knowing that KD was there. they chatted to hell until Tr|n|ty offered KD a lift going home. So i was left there with only madz to "entertain" me. i felt i have to go and catch with my coffee date with my officemate, Cecile at Robinsons Metro East.

i purchased a very, very nice gift for a friend for her birthday on the 11th of August. I have to give it to her before the said date since i won't be here by then. anyway, i hope she appreciates it since it is very, very cute. pramis.

i cooked my breakfast this morning. later, i will be going out and look for the medical book my brother-in-law has been asking me to look for. i hope they have it in National Bookstore. If not, i have to look for it in Merriam Webster. howell...

Psalm 23 The Lord Our Shepherd
The Lord is my shepherd;
I have everything I need.
He lets me rest in fields of green grass
and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water.
He gives me new strength.
He guides me in the right paths,
as he has promised.
Even if I go through the deepest darkness,
I will not be afraid, Lord,
For you are with me.
Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me.
You prepare a banquet for me,
where all my enemies can see me;
you welcome me as an honored guest
and fill my cup to the brim.
I know that your goodness and love
will be with me all my life;
And your house will be my home
as long as I live."

Tag-board Story
Having a tag-board in my blog was never an idea of mine. I'd always love blogging, with comments & suggestions being kept solely to my friends' mind whenever they peep into my online diary. now, good friends of mine demand for a tag-board. i gave in to the request. anyway, i love my friends. it's them who keep me going.
feel free to post... to comment, to speak up. i might not reply but definitely, i'm reading all your tags. :)

its a beautiful morning. i hope the day remains consistent, as well as this whole week. it's "Thanksgiving Week" and the INC will celebrate its 89th year anniversary of existence here in the country. All glory and praises unto the Father's name!

Jerik had a birthday celebration blast last night. Oh btw, jerik has invited me before the afternoon WS to attend his party. this supercedes my previous post that i wasn't invited. Anyway, their house was jampacked, not only because of his visitors, but his brothers' visitors were present as well. Of course, the Kalihims dominated the rest of the night. Most of the Kalihim's in the locale are good friends of mine. mostly, they belong to the KADIWA. oh well... many viands were served. i concentrated on spaghetti (not much into dinner) and fruit salad... umm... yum, yum! after eating, they watched Vol 27 of Meteor Garden (ugh!) and we insisted to have KTV instead. We took turns in singing til 15 minutes before midnight. before we left, we took pictures. these scenario is one scene i will definitely miss.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

i'm currently here in Millennium Cafe, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall. Actually, i'm waiting for our photos to be developed so i decided to pass some time by updating my blog. ISP here is quick. even PEx pages open fast.
at lunch a while ago, i was with ate jary (hehe... kaya OK ang walang comments section or tag board eh. walang maka-kontra) and we had a full lunch at Goldilocks Cubao, near the SM employees who are rallying against their big boss Henry Sy. I told jary how i feel about "G" and i really can't help it now. it's getting worser than i thought. i just hope that everything will be fine before i leave. oh well...
at 4 this afternoon, we will have PNK visitations and i also have to attend to the children's choir practice tonight. and lest i forget, i still have to review for tomorrows lesson.
i'm happy with my blog updates. :)

finally i shook off my headache. i left home at around 1130hrs and took off to Greenbelt area to meet my office barkada, who's gonna give me a despedida treat. i have no idea where we would go until i met them at our meeting place: Wendy's Greenbelt 1. There i met Anne, Lei, Buddy, MJ & Dinty. 'twas sooooo nice to be with them once again since we parted assignments from SUN Cellular's launch date last March 29, 2003. Jules & Kats however didn't make it but nonetheless, it's a wonderful day for us. We drove to tagaytay using Buddy's car, MJ, who is 8-months preggy, had to sit in front and i was squeezed at the back seat by the three other ladies. While on the road, i was roasted by my girl friends... a real roast until i was toasted. geez.. now i heard the "other side". i just felt a bit down since they have to make comments eventhough they didn't know the whole picture of the situation, and obviously, i'm outnumbered. oh well, c'est la vie. at least now, i've heard both sides.
We dined in Leslie's, and afterwards, since chatting isn't over yet and we have to transfer place, we decided to spend the rest of the "showery" afternoon in the newly opened Starbucks. haha... sana daw di na lang kami umalis sa Makati kung Starbucks din lang. but nothing (in Metro Manila) can beat the view in Tagaytay. and the ambiance there is so... nature-ally. :p of course we had lots of photos taken. i made sure that i have the film in my hands before we parted ways. i have to have all the photos with me and i'll just give them the negative for them to re-copy their photos. :D
Before i met the group, i chanced to dial a friends number who works in Makati and also, i called P, hoping that he's just around the area somewhere. good. he's there. so we met up for a while, took some walk and i had formally told him that i was leaving again. thanks for the company, P. Ikaw ang una kong naaalala pag nasa G4 area ako. ;)
Thanks for friends. They do make a BIG difference. Thanks..

i feel a bit sick. i was supposed to text friend Mariel and ask her for a hot choco session at Coffee Experience but i feel a bit heavy and sleepy. then my head is aching. i tried to go home as early as possible after my transactions were finished in Robinsons Galleria, then i slept for 4 hours before i went to our choir practice tonight.
i just feel so down today. i don't wanna be sick especially that the INC July Anniversary is fast approaching. i have taken a tablet of Tempra Forte tonight and i plan to sleep right away after my DP at 10:30 later... One hour to go.
i know the days are short. but i'm not being pessimist with my trip overseas. I will just miss Manila. If i'd be coming back again sooner than what my mind thinks of right now, i wouldn't know it. i can't tell how long will i be staying there. or maybe how short. i'll miss you all, guys.

two days in a row, i treated myself to movies. Saturday saw me at Sta. Lucia East Cinema entering the movie house where Charlie's Angels was showing, while yesterday, i was with a friend and we watched the latest Schwarzenegger Film, Terminator 3.
the former was highly entertaining while the latter was asteeg! well, can't find an adjective to describe it.
got my locale assignment on the CWS Anniversary Thanksgiving and i will be the reserved teacher for Cainta locale. i'm a bit nervous. this locale has a "history" in my life. oh well...
today will be a busy day. i'll be leading the devotional prayer this morning at 0530 hrs and then, i'll be going to SUN Shop Taytay to check on Binky. She's been telling me last Saturday that she's having confusion with the inventory report. have to assist her. Then i have to be in our Head Office by 1000 hrs. i'll be meeting Glenn & Emma for their referrals. the rest of the day will have to be used for "papers" and by 1930 hrs, i should be back in our locale for our choir practice.
have to go...

i've waited for the afternoon of yesterday to meet CY, and even before we reach the meeting place, we both caught traffic from different directions. She coming from Makati while i taking the route from Ortigas Ext., going to The Podium. Upon my arrival to The Podium, 'twas my first time to go down its car park (super basement) which eventually was made with a very low vertical clearance. sheesh... i have to go down all the way to basement 3 just to find a spot for the tall Mitsubishi L300. Anyway, i'm not planning to bring any vehicle the next time i'll be going to The Podium. Or better yet, i'll park my van in SM Megamall Bldg A.
So, CY & i had a great time eating and chatting at Cafe Breton (again, for me) but i think CY enjoyed most her cosmetics shopping. First time i have noticed that National Bookstore (Best Sellers) has a place in The Podium. So before we parted ways, where CY insists to stay and watch a movie with her mom and cousin while i have to rush home for the choir practice, we browsed on some books.
Today was rather a busier day than yesterday. Morning saw me performing in our special WS, then after that from mid-day to after lunch, Bongertz had a chat with my brother in law using my YM handle. Bongertz was a trainee of my brother-in-law in performing his duty as organist. After lunch, i proceeded to our Cainta SUN Shop and waited for Cecile's time out. We had some chat and a cup of coffee and i told her what had happened the other day when i was in Pampanga.
Today is the start of our two-week devotional prayer for the Church Anniversary thanksgiving. got to go...

nice to be staying at home for the whole day. i slept for four extra hours after having my brunch and performed my duty in our Thursday service this afternoon. The male choir also had a practice for the special worship service on Saturday morning, which is to be officiated by brother DVO.
I have made a new thread in PinoyExchange and it's dedicated to all working girls. Of course, it has a better presentation than just the words "working girls". Anyway, here's the link:
I hope i get worthy posts and replies there.
Yesterday was rather a day that i wouldn't easily forget in my entire life. I had to be an evil... again. I hate seeing them cry for that reason. They make me feel guilty of everything. sheesh... i know i'm not guilty of anything.
As my personal adviser said, "walang may kasalanan sa inyo nun. Feeling kase yan at hindi natin madidiktahan ang feelings." Thanks, partner. Alam ko isa ka sa mga taong tunay na nakakaunawa sa akin. And i'm thankful for knowing you beyond yourself being the daughter of a trominis.
i have learned to appreciate crepes it was my third time to eat crepe and i think i would keep it in my heart. (aajao ang pangit mong magpost ngayon, pramis!)
Ok, ok... tama na yan.
I'm thinking of adding a tagboard here in my blog.

6:30AM >> dad woke me up. he's leaving for his usual out-of-town duties.
6:30AM to 8:30Am >> tuned in to MUB, trying to anticipate Ogie Diaz with his blind items portion but unfortunately, the segment wasn't shown. gusto ko kaseng matawa early in the morning. bitin kase tulog ko eh kaya kailangan kong maaliw. di naman nakakatuwa si Eagle Riggs. while sipping kofi, i turned on the PC and checked on PEx and of course, my emails.
8:30AM to 9AM >> prepared for "work".
9AM to 10AM >> drove to Galleria Corporate Center (our head office) and returned the defective units that were returned by my subscribers in Taytay. I also turned over my service unit & SIM Cards to Boss Dante. Now, i only have two official numbers: Globe & SUN (aajao).
10AM to 1130AM >> turn over of accountabilities, chat with officemates (based in H.O.). oh yes. we seldom see each other and they bidded me goodbye & good luck. btw, my boss is giving me a despedida on the 19th. i'm touched.
1130AM to 12NN >> travel to Megamall with friend MarieL.
12NN >> met Paul (JENSIE_G) & jorry potter (whyte) at Powerbooks Blgd. A. I bought a book. It's on their list of Best Sellers. Its title: Unfaithful Wives.
1230PM to 230PM >> dined in Yoshinoya for our main course (lunch) & Mr. Donut for our dessert. First time i've tasted their "crown" donuts. too sweet. i just love the place where i get to see MQ.
230PM to 345PM >> drove back to Galleria & off to my office in Taytay.
345PM to 445PM >> read office emails, assisted Binky in the (SUN) booth and ate macaroni. its ma'am irene's birthday.

home early. i decided to be home early since i still have to attend some church activities later tonight. oh well. what a day this has been. it's my last day at SUN Cellular and i have made my "farewell email" to my colleagues and bosses. It warms my heart knowing that even for a short period of time, i have been appreciated and will be missed by my peers. after sending the email, i was flooded with email replies and some even bothered to call thru my office landline & service SIM. :sniff-sniff:
after office, i went to our Center in Cainta since Ma'am Aeya is celebrating her birthday. i have eaten some delicious foods: morcon, fettucini, tongyang-style mixed rice, isaw and gulaman. haha! isabay daw ba sa "despedida". at least, tipid sa handa kase may kahati. LOL.
Ceewhay PMd me about last Saturday's incident after i left her & diane in Brookside. makulit talaga si Froilan, pagpasensyahan mo na hija.
i took home a total of 7 mobile units tonight with me: 2 Nokia 2100, 1 Nokia 7250, 1 Nokia 3510, 2 Nokia 3650, and 1 Panasonic GD88. i'm rich! i'm rich! hehe...dream on. they are all defective units. i will bring them all tomorrow in our HO.
(break) >>> my two bosses just called. they had just finished with their meeting and they called just to inform me of the despedida that they have prepared for... well, for the other boss who will leave the country too, at isisingit lang daw nila yung sa akin na rin. haha! some thoughtfulness. oh well, i told my boss i have other plans tomorrow and i asked for a separate despedida for me.
ghad! i will miss this place!

Updates... updates...
Friday... blog was having a problem arranging itself chronologically. hence, the dates of posts are mixed-up.
Saturday... i was off to work after our early morning choir practice. I was surprised to see Binky (my reliever) reporting to work that day. I've heard that she wasn't able to report to work (in Taytay) last Friday, her supposed day 1 in the booth. oh well, at least i was able to teach her the primary reports she needs to submit daily. Then also, we had 3 postpaid line sales. We had our lunch in our Center in Cainta and after lunch, off i went to our CWS Thanksgiving class which was held in De Castro. I was supposed to go out with my former colleague but the rest of the afternoon (and nightfall caught us) was spent waiting for workers who would fill-in as Sunday School Teachers for those who were not able to attend the class. personal gimmick was (again) scratched.
Sunday... the usual Church day. while sipping coffee at the early hours of the day, i browsed on PEx and found the latest alternick of a PExer: AAAAAAHHHHHHjao. I don't know how to react on this. It seems that he's getting a hobby of using my nick for his one-man shows in the forums. sheesh.. pathetic.
well, services were blessed and we just had an extra practice for the July Thanksgiving. Our choir directress will visit us on Tuesday, July 08, for our (early) general practice for the July Thanksgiving. For the past occasions, our general practice with her usually dates one week before the scheduled services. but now, its way too early. we haven't even started our devotional prayer for the CWS.
Most strucking news i heard this weekend: my ex is preggy. it saddened me and i'll be honest to admit that i'm affected. suspect is a f*cking GAY DJ of YES 101.1 FM Nasabi kong BAKLA sya kase AYAW NYANG PANAGUTAN YUNG BATA. GAGO! "WK" ANG TATAY NYA DAHIL DYAN! hindi mo alam yung bagay na yun! ang alam mo lang, magparaos ng kalib*gan mo!! TARANTADO KA, BAKLA!!! gagawa-gawa ka, hindi mo kayang panagutan!

after church, i was looking for a stroll around any malls not so far from my area, and hoping to hang around with some friends. jary was supposed to meet up with PExer Ellheym but for some reasons i never bothered to know, their meeting didn't push through. so, going to megamall to meet them was scratched. thinking that i'll be out the whole day tomorrow, (i'm not reporting for work), i decided just to let the night pass having myself here at home early. so i just turned on my best bud (so far) at home, and this is the PC. browsed around PEx and found out that the Private Messaging is already working. checked on my emails too, and of course, blog!
i'll be with my college buds tomorrow, and we're gonna visit our choir director who will celebrate her birthday on Saturday, July 5. its been so long when we last had a get-together. now i'm excited to see them. and the Alma Mater, too. :)
i wanna watch Alessandra de Rossi's movie, Mga Munting Tinig. only, i'm just too lazy to watch movies. haven't even watched Charlie's Angels & The Hulk. oh well...

this morning, (i mean yesterday morning, Wednesday) as i was driving on my way to the office, i happen to overtake a motorcycle on the right side of the expanded Manila East Road in Taytay, Rizal. I glanced at the passengers of the motorcycle i overtook. A mother was driving, with her grade school daughter sitting safely in front of her. the child was in her class uniform so i assume that they were going to her school. i slowed down a bit, trying to keep pace with the motorcycle's speed, just a few meters behind me. i kept glancing on my side mirror and occasionally on my rear view mirror just to witness the heart-warming scenario. a mother, doing a father's job (riding a motorcycle with a daughter), and a cute daughter bravely trying to ignore the wind's continuous "torture-blow" to a little child's face. aww... :)
i only have three units left to sell by the end of the day. i left the office earlier than the usual 5o'clock, and decided to ask an officemate out to have a cup of coffee in Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall. we talked about male point of view (again. sheesh... i'm beginning to be a ladies' counselor), but our topic weighed mostly on career. i've been telling my officemate to stick with SUN Cellular since our batch are considered as the pioneers of the company. and when the company earns triple its capital, then benefits for employees can be better than Globe & SMART. of course we have to pray for that thing to happen. right now, Digitel Mobile is still on its stage of earning its capital. and it hasn't stopped expanding. that means, more deficit still. give it time...
after our drinking session at Java Republic, i strolled around Robinsons Metro East then went back to Sta. Lucia. killing time, since i have to fetch mom at the church after the service. strolling around the mall alone gave memories. (hence, the poem above.) :D i got to visit WellComm, too and ask for Nokia 6610 accessories. no housing for it is available, but the camera compatible for the unit amused me. i got two "test shots" and the files were saved on my phone. that was two free shots. hehe.. now i'll just send it thru my email, and send the pic to my sister. :)
nagulat ako. somebody made this thread in PEx.

sandaling panahon, ika'y muling namalas

The first day of my extended workday this is. didn't bother to log-in when i arrived at the office this morning and i have informed my boss about it thru email. that way, he wouldn't expect any extra mile on my part anymore. a week of goodwill isn't bad. and they could not ask for more. after all, they already held my last compensation for the 30th of June.
I have done our June Collection Report and i emerged 4th in our area. Not bad. considering all factors, i would say it wasn't a bad job. Our area, composed of 8 SUN booth locations, generated P1.6M sales, excluding bills payment for the month of June. Our area (South Luzon) is the smallest among our company's division. hmm... naaliw lang ako sa ginawa kong report. I've spent one whole day consolidating our figures. its worth it, though. :)
dinner with close PEx friends was unexpected. as always, i am more used to unexpected engagements rather than planned ones. mas natutuloy kase. It's also been a while since i dined in Sbarro. nice to be back there. when i got there, i noticed two things: kalbo si jorry, at tumangkad si jovee. :D
i feel good... extra good upon entering the holy sanctuary. it brought a lot of memories when i was still in New Era. it made me reflect more as i looked back on the years that molded me to acknowledge the Central Administration's labor & love for the church. i was supposed to say a lot and ask a lot on my prayer... but most of my words simply uttered "Father, thank you..." :sniff:
in a span of one month, i have been consulted by three girl friends regarding the Male Point Of View. It simply amuses me realizing that for the past two weeks, i was consulting my girl friends regarding the Female Point Of View. Then i remembered what i told MarieL: Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars. Now what the hell are we doing here on earth?" LOL.
