that trip to somewhere

[caption id="attachment_2501" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Last Baguio trip - April 2007"][/caption] i'm looking forward to traveling with my two girls this year, but don't know where in particular. the holy week should be a good time to go to some place since it will have an additional day off in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan. Problem is, people have already booked their vacation for those holidays. And looking at the domestic flights, all promo fares seem to have been taken already. and i'm also guessing that beaches/resorts are also already fully-packed on those dates. One consolation, though, we are scheduled to go up to Baguio on the last week of March for a good friend's wedding. I'm looking forward to that since it will be our first time to go up there with our little Aya :)

I recently got my (renewed) passport and i don't know why but it feels good :D then a message came to my FB inbox:

Bro. Can you make your way to california around August or September this year para mag-abay?

my best bud is getting married! i wanna fly to CA, of course with my two girls, but how? i lack fund :( and i still need to reapply for a U.S. Visa. geez.. i really want to make it to his wedding day and i see it as a good time sana for us (my two girls and i) to tour the country. aarghh! i hate this feeling. i need a miracle to earn up for the trip.

i'm also considering a trip to a neighboring Asian country--- fare not as expensive as in America, and place is more different from any domestic destination. It's either HK or Vietnam. Or maybe SG. If we can't make a trip outside the country this year, hopefully early next year or until summer of next year.

For now, i'd like to unwind somewhere in time for the holidays. i just don't know where that trip to somewhere be.

don't you just wish that life is more simple?

eat, play, sleep, TV, DVD titles, malling...

------------

my little girl is so fond of taking pictures of us and anything that she sees around. below are some photos she took using my cellphone:

i just noticed that my little girl has this "eye" for her subject. and she takes photos with proper framing. future photographer? hehe...

and here she is last night when we had our family date. she's having one of her favorite food: (nido) soup with quail eggs...

things like these make me wish that life is more simple. ;)

Thank God, it's Friday... again!

Yay, it's Friday night! It only means one thing: REST!

I got tired as early as Monday and the days approaching weekend brought some not-so-good news when first, my personal "service" was taken for repair. second, father-in-law got hospitalized. and third, i lost a "raket" due to conflicting schedules.

on a brighter note, my car should be looking new again by next week and i'm so excited to reunite with it. also, my father-in-law has already been taken home, which means, he's now OK, and lastly, i just had a "business" talk with blogger friend Edsel and he's offering me a side income. i just have to see how this new task will develop in time. the new project will require me to squeeze my creative side (and i'm hoping i have it in me) and eventually lead me to another line of... expertise? i was joking him if they'll be needing a model for a billboard ad--- which is still a dream of mine to date, and he said "NO" right away. hahaha! :P

i have a day and a half to enjoy with my two girls, as i need to work tomorrow for the noon time news program.
for now, ciao!

month 2, day 1

it's Wednesday and i'm tired already. i wish it's Friday night.
my car left me today. it will be repaired (finally) and the next time i see it, i'm expecting a brand new - like blue vios! but before that, i need to get used (again) to commuting to and from work. for how many days from today, i don't know.

------------

wifey called me earlier and informed me that they rushed my father-in-law to the hospital due to high blood pressure. and the doctor insisted that he must be confined to monitor his condition. i just hope he gets well very soon. i know its not going to be easy for all of us when a family member gets bed-ridden.

------------

earlier today, i carried two heavy bags of soap--- order of my boss. after riding the bus from home, i was supposed to take the train on my way to work but realized that it will be a difficult scenario, considering that one bag weighs two gallons, so i took a cab from EDSA. i find it amusing that the cab i rode has this receipt printer. i forgot to get mine when i got off, though. my fare reached P99.50 from Ortigas to Timog (exactly how many kilometers is that distance?)

------------

i'm evaluating my career at this point. this month marks my first year as an official Kapuso talent. where the "next year" will take me... let's just see.
