Our Father promised long ago
A peaceful place for us to dwell;
If in our calling we remain,
Our home's the New Jerusalem.
Our new home waits for us in heaven,
A life of endless joy and peace,
Where God shall end all suffering;
Yes, there a glorious life begins!
All those who served His holy Name
Shall dwell together in His home,
His faithful servants till the end,
Forever blest and called His own.
With God's last messenger we'll meet there,
Crowned with the everlasting life;
And there shall be no tears nor pain,
For God's unfailing love abides.
...And there shall be no tears nor pain,
For God's unfailing love abides.
(hymn I personally sung for the passing of Bro. Teofilo C. Ramos)

excited
i am so excited today since i IM'd rose asking her if she could find a downloadable music video of my most endeared song these past few weeks, Where Are You? (Natalie feat. Justin Roman) she kindly downloaded one for me and sent it thru YM, so now i can enjoy the song here in the office all day until i get sick of it.
not done with the excitement, i looked for a link where i can embed the music in my friendster profile and i found one music video. only thing is, the video is far related with the music--- it's an anime show but who cares? whenever someone views my profile, it's only the music that counts, eh?

this is rather a bit stressful day since the other office keeps on bugging us for their deadline, and i don't care to elaborate. it's time for me to unwind since it has already been a long day, not to mention that my partner had to leave after lunch to attend to her son's PTA meeting. so i took my lunch around 2PM already and it was the time i had to peek at PEx to see if there is any development with the Kapatid EB we are trying to organize. i managed to reminisce the old times in the thread but have to end up quick my lunch to get done the things needed to be done.
good thing, i had a lot of food intake today which started off at lunch time when i have no one with me to order lunch with, so i had to meet the minimum amount of order (P150) at McDonalds. then, our officemate Bea is celebrating her birthday today so we just had our bday snack a while ago before we finally call it a day. Our GM left already and he's headed to China (i guess) for his other business, and he'll be coming back next week just in time for his birthday celebration. (wow, another pigging out occasion)!

i was able to chat with my sister this morning and its good to note that we still have that sibling rapport. i'm excited to see them again, especially my newly-born nephew. some time next year, maybe... God-willing.
time to go... i need to take a rest early. ciao!

was the worst Saturday of my life:
1. i have adjusted my church schedules for nothing.
2. a boyfriend of someone was texting me using his girlfriends' cell phone. wtf?!?!!
3. i logged out of the office attendance record at 2pm, but eventually left the office at quarter to six pm.
4. a friend got so mad for waiting in makati and decided to hear out and accept just one side of the story.
5. went home talking to no one, mind was blank and wanted to take a long vacation in a far away unknown place ALONE.
Good thing Sunday was blessed!
God is good. And He loves me dearly.

Happy birthday to my Apu Ingging, my good friend Arman, and a long lost college friend, Tristan. I used to be with all of them but now, they're all away from me.
I should have visited my lola this past weekend but wasn't able to due to the many tasks i am expected to get done over the weekend. i hope i could visit Minalin again some time sooner.

my office pc clock reads 7:26pm and i was (just) done with the new graph that i was tasked to do this afternoon. after a day of plotting data into MS excel worksheets, i'll be converting data again tomorrow to complete the graphs needed for my bosses presentation on Monday. And i heard our GM say to our SD: "It's gonna ba a long day tomorrow" huwaaaat??? i can't! i have an appointment, and speaking of which, the person i am supposed to have an appointment with is dead, figuratively speaking. that leads me to my next story...
* * *
many times this person agreed to a scheduled date and once the day gets near, the person is nowhere to be contacted. you'll just end up worrying, thinking, and catching a headache wondering what is going on. i don't know how some people find it so difficult to say "NO" if they really don't feel like it. it will be more mature and proper to talk out straight than just keeping silent when you know that the person you are talking with must also live his own life, but is being kept on hold with prior commitments that both of you agreed.
guessing game again? oh please. how can some people easily make others look and feel stupid going after them. whatever you do (and i'm DIRECTLY talking now to you, dear reader) always remember this: "You will reap what you sow."
* * *
i need to start reading Harry Potter books. maybe, it will be a good new year's resolution to read ALL HP books before the next HP movie is shown in... 2007?
i've been hearing good feedbacks from the Goblet Of Fire movie. i can opt to either just be a harry potter movie fan, or both a harry potter book & movie fan. as my thoughts dictate me now, i opt for the latter so i can practice my course of study more than just being a movie fan. there's a lot to "see" in the movie, based of course from its original concept--- the book.
* * *
i'm missing a girl far, far away... many advised me to forget and move on but i just can't, until now. and i still feel the need to know what she's doing everyday, who is she with everyday, what are her thoughts everytime.
...my officemates see me today as how my friends see me then--- a certified masochist. i guess i'm consistent after all.

* * *

of coffee, coffee buddies, and buddies
i now have three coffee stamp cards coming from three different coffee shops. I used to have four stamp cards but decided to give away the other card since i don't usually visit that specific coffee shop, aside from the fact that its outlets are so few so i would have a hard time filling up all the stamps in it to enjoy its promo. The card which i gave away came from Gloria Jeans Coffees. The three cards that i still keep are from The Java Man, San Francisco Coffee Co, and of course, from Figaro.
Funny though, among the stamp cards that i keep, only Figaro is included in the list of my favorite coffee shops as posted here.
* * *
I have managed to see, sit with and have a good conversation with three of my coffee buddies in two weeks. The most recent was this afternoon with Ces @ The Java Man (where i got my third stamp card), early this week with Anlei @ Figaro, and last week with (my supposed Iced Tea drinking buddy) C.Y. @ Mocha Blends. That's an average of one point five coffee session with a coffee buddy in a week (is my math correct?). I used to have an average of three coffee sessions in one week when i was unemployed and job hunting. but of course, it's a different story when you are employed and (feeling) so busy.
when i was in Mississauga, i only have two coffee buddies: Noriel & Charlie. And we only have one coffee shop hang out: Tim Hortons
* * *
ces and i exchanged gifts this afternoon. it was meant for our birthdays. she gave me one of my dream vcds for collection purposes (title: Deep Impact), while i gave her a few items from The Body Shop. it's always nice to have a chat with your buddies, just talking about anything under the sun. they serve as your "outlet" when you feel something within you needs to be shared with people you are comfortable with. these buddies complete your life, if you feel empty or something seems lacking in you. of course, healthy conversation counts MOST in meeting with these buddies of yours.

Friday Meanness
yea, yea... i was rushing from the parking ground to the elevator this morning since my partner is on leave. my mind was set to get to the 21st floor right away and good thing, a lift opened in less than a minute of waiting. IT WAS FULL. but anyway, i got myself to squeeze in a space and there was this annoying guy who wants to be in front of the elevator doors, not minding to move a bit to give space to other people in the lift. was it just me? hell no! the door opened at the 8th floor, i went out to give way, there was the annoying man staying in front of the elevator doorway, not moving an inch, and people getting off the lift are having a hard time passing. and while he seems like a statue in front of us all, he didn't even bother extending his hand though the elevator door sensor so the door wouldn't close while people who are getting off from the back find their way out of the crowded car lift. same scenario happened when we stopped by the next floors. and, aha! he's not getting off at my floor! he was still standing there, the car lift was still a bit crowded and it was my time to get off. so, i intentionally bumped him out while saying "excuse me" so he was forced to move out while three other people who were getting off the same floor displayed grins on their faces. as if we understood each other's plight with that annoying guy in the elevator where we all shared different scents of colognes inside from the building's ground floor up to where we should get off.

coming up: another long weekend
so what am i planning to do?
we have convinced our GM to include Saturday as a non-working day for our office, in addition to Malacanang's declaration of a November 4 holiday. who would be so freaking excited to work on a sandwiched weekend (and a half day at that) anyway?
* * *
We have scheduled a visitation tomorrow morning for some KADIWA brethren. the officers don't expect me to come though since i haven't committed my schedule with them when we had our caucus yesterday. I might go anyway, then head to Loyola Memorial Park to visit my lolo & lola's grave. i can't remember the last time i visited their resting place, but we usually visit it either during their birthday or death anniversary. but for tomorrow, we just want to take advantage of the holiday, and at the same time have another quality time with relatives from my mom's side.

long weekend story
mood: delighted
October 29, Saturday. Woke up early to attend special worship for KADIWA-Binhi Anniversary, held at Pasig Locale. Ryan and i afterwards made our way to Pasig market to get a polo shirt each for us, the one that we'll be wearing for the KADIWA Night. Later that afternoon, i found the chance to have my haircut (photo in previous blog entry) and prepared to perform in the 645pm worship service. Before going to the church for the performance though, i managed to make a new script for a portion of the program where we will be staging a live interview for Ate Mabel & Kuya Geof. Had a D.P. and met with the KADIWA officers after the service.
October 30, Sunday. performed in the choir at the 645am worship service, taught @ Sunday school, then went home for lunch, took a cat nap then headed to village east clubhouse where the much-awaited occasion is to be held. went home around 5pm and took a shower, then went back to the clubhouse for final preparations... KADIWA Night 2005 (R-18)! (photos on succeeding entries)
October 31, Monday. went to work on a non-working holiday. Natch & Shine decided to accompany me and they had a good time on surfing the net thru our ofice pc. hehehe... then Ms Ems & Sir Des came with their respective "bodyguards", so the three of us (Natch & Shine) headed for lunch at the mega. i came back at the office after an hour break @ Tokyo Tokyo. Went hom around 3pm, took a nap, then performned @ the Grand Evangelical Mission that was held later that night. Jary came to our locale but without her tukayo, Janeth. Unfortunatelt, i wasn't able to take her at least to the jeepney stop since i was to attend the locale caucus.
November 1, Tuesday - TODAY! woke up early to attend the PNK special worship service which was held simultaneously in five areas in Rizal district. Locale in our area attended the service in Antipolo Locale. Met up with some PNK officers after the service, then mom and i went to our relatives place in Fairview, lunch time. Nice to see my cousins again, caught up with our own life story-updates. headed back home after dinner and now i'm here updating this blog at home. dad's home from Pampanga. I'm planning to report to work (extra) early tomorrow to finish some undone business--- reports, actually.
15 days before the big screen shows Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.
